1. Items needed to steam Blue Crabs: You need crabs, a
Burner, propane tank, double boiler steamer, crab tongs,
white vinegar, four cups water or beer and old bay seasoning.

2. Place crabs in the top portion of a double boiler crab
steamer. Sprinkle your favorite seasoning over the
crabs to stop them from fighting.

3. This is how the crabs will look in the steamer.
This steamer should hold (30) thirty to (40)
Blue Crabs.

4. Mix Equal parts of water, white vinegar, and add your
favorite seasoning. Stir gently and place on your
burner and bring to a boil.

5. When the bottom part of the boiler starts to
boil. Place the top portion of the steamer with
the crabs and lid on the bottom. Steam crabs for
20 minutes.

6. Remove crabs and let them cool for 15 minutes.
|
|
|
7. Normally you would catch a bucket of crabs.
The steamer will hold 35 – 40 crabs. With the
“Dome Crabcatcher Crab Traps” you can catch your legal limit
on a good day.

8. This is the finished product. Time for picking or a crab feast.
